Betoncino Consolidante MGN

Betoncino Consolidante

Structural reinforcement lime mortar

Similar composition to the original Roman Concrete

For structural and seismic reinforcement of historic buildings

Typical applications: consolidation, structural and seismic reinforcement, earthquake-resistant new structures, underpinning

lime structural reinforcement mortar

Most suitable for

structural consolidation of flat surfaces with mesh reinforcement, such as walls and floors,

structural reinforcement (filling gaps) of

  1. masonry with large cracks (after subsidence)
  2. load bearing elements of disintegrating stone or brick structures

surface consolidation of

  1. masonry with disintegrated bricks and stones
  2. and highly humid masonry with structural weaknesses

seismic reinforcement of

  1. existing earthquake-damaged buildings
  2. for preventative, seismic reinforcement
  3. for new built, earthquake-resistant structures

underpinning

Highlights

  • High compression strength,
  • High adhesion power
  • but flexible
  • and breathable
  • gentle to the original building fabric.

It can be combined with various mesh systems – such as

FRP (Fibre Reinforced Polymer)

or FRCM (Fibre Reinforced Cementitious Matrix)

consolidation systems – including fibreglass, carbon, polymer, steel or other nets,

depending on the characteristics of the masonry and the problems to be overcome.
