This prestigious lime finish is my personal favourite, and I would like to share the reason with you in the pictures below:

The colour palette
The elegant pink shade – nearing E3AD8FCC – was custom created to match the original as closely as possible. However, you can choose from a wide colour palette of 24 standard colours, including white. Should you need a different shade, we can custom-create it to your needs.
All the colour mixes are made from 100% natural materials, natural earth colours, and marble dust. This is important so that whichever shade you choose, there is no reason to worry about discolouration or fading.

The Secret of Marble Looks
By applying pressure and compacting the material, the finish becomes hard-wearing with a magical, mirror-like shine while retaining its breathability. The applied pressure pushes the sand and marble granules under the surface, resulting in a compact, hard, glossy, but extremely vapour-permeable finish.
Add patina and extra waterproofing without additional cost
The video below explains the option of adding specific soap and wax mixes so that the lime surface gains a unique shine and becomes waterproof without increasing the thickness of the masonry (in just a few millimetres).
5 tips on application
Mr Naldo Busato, who renovated over 6,500 buildings in Venice with his team, shows us how it is done right: A MUST SEE
1
Ideal temperature for best results: Keep ambient and wall temperatures between +5 to +30°C during application. Surfaces should be protected from rain and humidity until they have completely dried (approximately 3–10 days depending on weather conditions).
2
Apply multiple thin coats: The Marmorino MGN finish will look its best and last longer if applied in at least two or more thin coats.
3
Let it dry a bit: After applying each thin coat, let the plaster dry for about 30-60 minutes, depending on ambient conditions, until it hardens a bit, becoming semi-dry but still workable.
4
The best results are achieved by hand application with a small finishing trowel: As mentioned above, applying pressure to compact the material will make the surface smooth and shiny.
5
Soap and oil: Rubbing in a mix of traditional soaps and oils is a great option for a water-repellent surface and added shine.
