Breathable, quick setting lime renovation plaster

Risanasmart MGN is a main single-coat plaster, developed for fast lime plaster application.

 Suitable for walls subject to moderate dampness problems or moderate rising damp when protection from soluble salts is also needed.

Practical application

Risanasmart MGN allows for the quick replastering of damp walls with lime in a single coat, significantly reducing labour costs and intervention times. Once the material has sufficiently set (typically in 6-10 hours), applying a finishing coat of Rasacol MGN finishes the job, making possible complete lime replastering in 1-2 days.

Being a lime plaster, it's naturally vapour permeable or breathable.

Resistant to All Salts

This lime plaster is resistant to all types of salts (chlorites, nitrates, sulphates) and acids.

No Cement. No Chemicals

Does not contain chemicals or cement - it only contains natural materials.

Extremely Long Lasting

Due to its microporous structure it blocks the movement of salts, being impervious to salts crystallization, crumbling and breakdown.

Suitable for Listed buildings

This plaster is suitable for historic or listed buildings and heritage renovations.

Work specifications and application

This single layer dehumidifying plaster can be applied as base and second coat (20-25mm)

  • (5-10 mm) Levelling / Repair: level, repair and point uneven walls first. The consumption depends on how uneven the walls are.
  • (15 mm) Second coat for moisture, salts and vapour control.
  • (3mm) Rasacol MGN finish
  • Apply lime wash or lime paint
